The journey to Delhi will be easy even during Diwali and Chhath Puja. In view of the increasing rush of passengers, two Puja special trains will be run by the Railways for Delhi. First train 01676/01675 Anand Vihar Terminus-Muzaffarpur Puja Special via Gorakhpur and second train 04040/04039 New Delhi-Barauni Puja Special via Gorakhpur will run.
Pankaj Kumar Singh, CPRO of NE Railway said, booking of tickets has started in this train. The schedule of both the trains has been released.
Anand Vihar Terminus-Muzaffarpur Puja Special
Anand Vihar Terminus Puja Special train will run from Anand Vihar Terminus on every Monday and Thursday from 17 October to 10 November. Whereas from Muzaffarpur it will run on every Tuesday and Friday from 18 October to 11 November.

Train No. 01676 Anand Vihar Terminus – Muzaffarpur Puja Special will leave Anand Vihar Terminus at 23.15 hrs on the second day, Moradabad at 02.40 hrs, Chandausi at 03.22 hrs, Lucknow at 09.40 hrs, Gorakhpur at 14.45 hrs, Chhapra at 18.10 hrs and Hajipur at 20.45 hrs. Will reach Muzaffarpur at 22.00 hrs.

Whereas Train No. 01675 Muzaffarpur – Anand Vihar Terminus Puja Special timings at 23.45 hrs from Muzaffarpur, Hajipur at 01.00 hrs, Chhapra at 02.15 hrs, Gorakhpur at 05.15 hrs, Lucknow at 12.00 hrs, Chandausi at 18.52 hrs and Moradabad at 20.30 hrs. ANAND VIHAR TERMINUS will arrive at 23.30 hrs. A total of 24 coaches of general class and sleeper class will be installed in this train.
New Delhi-Barauni Puja Special Train
Train No. 04040/04039 New Delhi – Barauni Puja Special train will run from New Delhi on every Tuesday and Friday from 18 October to 11 November. Whereas from Barauni it will run on every Wednesday and Saturday from 19 October to 12 November.

Timing of Train No. 04040 New Delhi – Barauni Puja Special leaves New Delhi at 19.25 hrs, Moradabad at 22.38 hrs, Bareilly at 00.03 hrs, Lucknow at 03.40 hrs, Gorakhpur at 09.15 hrs, Siwan at 11.15 hrs, Chhapra at 12.05 hrs and Hajipur at 12.05 hrs. Departure at 13.30 and reach Barauni at 16.00.

Whereas Train No. 04039 Barauni – New Delhi Puja Special train timings is 19.40 hrs, leaves Barauni at 21.05 hrs, Chhapra at 22.35 hrs, Siwan at 23.42 hrs, Gorakhpur at 01.30 hrs, Lucknow at 08.05 hrs and Bareilly at 11.37 hrs and Moradabad. Departure at 13.35 hrs and reach New Delhi at 16.40 hrs. A total of 24 coaches of general class and sleeper class will be installed in this train.
