Five people were seriously injured in a horrific road accident on the Satna-Chitrakoot State Highway on Saturday. The car and tractor got blown up in this accident. The injured have been sent to the hospital with the help of local people.
A car and a tractor-trolley collided at around 4 pm on Saturday near the petrol pump located at Kothi on the highway. Five people, including a boy, were injured in both the vehicles. One injured is from Gorakhpur UP while 4 injured are said to be residents of Kothi. All the injured have been brought to the Satna District Hospital. After hitting the car-tractor, it went deep under the road, while the engine part of the tractor broke to pieces. The tractor-trolley was loaded with brick-cement and other building materials.
It is said that the tractor was going from Kothi to village Gulua, while the car was going from Satna to Kothi. The tractor was going from its side when a speeding car coming from the front hit it hard. Due to this the tractor got broken into pieces.

The injured include tractor driver Rajendra alias Lalu Kushwaha resident of Kothi, Saurabh Prajapati father Rakesh Shanti Nagar Kothi, Prakash Prajapati father Mohan Lal Kumhran Tola Kothi, Rupesh alias Allu father Kamlesh Prajapati Kumhran Tola Kothi. As of now, there is no information available about the driver of the car.
