A tourist bus met with an accident in Himachal Pradesh on Friday morning. The accident happened near Bilaspur on the Chandigarh-Manali highway. The bus overturned in the middle of the road at Kunala near Jabali. A girl has died in the accident, while around 39 people were injured. Police has registered the case and started investigation.
Deceased girl from Jaipur
The deceased girl was identified as Kaushangi Arya (20) daughter Manoj Arya resident of Park Pride Apartment Krishna Sarovar near ISKCON Temple Jaipur. 39 people injured in the accident have been provided treatment at Regional Hospital Bilaspur. Two injured have been referred to AIIMS Bilaspur and one injured to PGI Chandigarh. 2 people did not get any injuries, but 2 people are said to be absconding from the spot.

Delhi University students had come to visit
According to the information received, 42 students of Delhi University, Kamla Nehru College were going to visit Manali. There were 37 girls and 5 boys, the driver and another colleague in it.

Manali bound tourist bus HR38A-B0007 overturned in the middle of the road due to loss of balance. While carrying out the rescue operation, passers-by pulled out the injured from the bus and took them to Bilaspur Regional Hospital. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police reached the spot and took the dead body of the girl. Police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the driver.
The injured are being treated in the hospital.
