Leeds United are ready to sell winger Dan James amidst interest from Tottenham Hotspur, with the White Hart Lane outfit said to be preparing a £40 million bid for the former Man Utd starlet. James has slipped down the pecking order under manager Jesse Marsch.
Speaking after yesterday’s draw in the Premier League, manager Marsch quipped: “I like Dan and I think he has been a big part of what we have done here before I came and since I have been here.
“I don’t anticipate big movement in the group, but we have to see what happens in the next 24 hours.”
Spurs have already completed six deals during this transfer window, and manager Conte admitted recently that he still wants to sign a few new faces before the end of the month. James appears to be the top target for Spurs, and there could be further arrivals before deadline day.
