The Prime Minister Young Achievers Scholarship Award scheme is being run by the Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Directorate of Backward Classes Welfare Uttar Pradesh. Under this, there is a plan to provide top class education to OBC and other students. For this, the Prime Minister’s Successful Entrance Test will be organized.
Selection will be done on the basis of merit
The selection in the Prime Minister’s Successful Entrance Test will be on the basis of merit. The selected students will be given a scholarship of Rs. 75 thousand every year for studies in class 9 and 10 and Rs. 1.25 lakh for studying in class 11 and 12. District Backward Classes Welfare Officer Mohd Zeeshan Malik informed that the website http://yet.nta.ac.in has been set for the application in the scheme. Applications can be made till 11 September 2022. Correction in the application form will be from 12th to 14th September, the admit card will be from 20th September and the exam will be held on 25th September.

OBC, EBC, DNT students will be eligible
Other Backward Class i.e. OBC, Economically Backward Class i.e. EBC and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi-Nomadic Tribes i.e. DNT class students will be eligible for the application. The annual income of the parent/guardian should not exceed 2 lakh 50 thousand. To apply, the student should have an active mobile number, Aadhaar number (UID), Aadhaar linked bank account, income certificate (not more than two lakh fifty thousand) and caste certificate.
