Covid-19 Update: Amidst the surge of Corona in China, Hong Kong and other countries, India has registered a decline in Kovid-19 cases. In the last 24 hours, 214 new cases of corona have been registered in the country. With this, now the number of active cases has increased to 2,509.
According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 204 people have been cured in the last 24 hours. After which the total number of recoveries has increased to 4,41,46,534. With this, the recovery rate is currently 98.8 percent and active cases are 0.01 percent.
Corona vaccination campaign of India
Under the nationwide vaccination campaign, a total of 220.13 crore vaccine doses have been given so far. In which 95.14 crore second dose and 22.42 crore booster doses have been given. Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has also held a meeting with the health ministers of the states on the status and preparedness of Kovid-19. Mandaviya is constantly keeping a close watch on the situation in Corona. At the same time, 56,997 people have been given the vaccine in the last 24 hours.
A total of 91.19 crore corona tests have been done so far. There have been 1,88,768 tests in the last 24 hours. The government is constantly appealing people to be aware of Corona.
