Taking lessons from the security lapse last time, Punjab Police has made tight security arrangements in Mohali for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Punjab tomorrow. PM will inaugurate Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center here. The 2 km area of the venue has been completely sealed. The area has been made a no fly zone. Section 144 has been imposed in the entire area. Last time due to security lapse, this time around 7 thousand jawans are ready on duty.
Police blockade done 2 km before the meeting place. From here only pass holders are allowed to go.
Apart from Punjab Police, Special Security Force (SSF) officers are monitoring the security. Special Protection Group (SPG) officers have also reached Mohali for PM security. Apart from the police, SSF guards and sniper commandos have also been deployed in the area. Bomb disposal squad and dog squad have also been kept on standby.
A large number of policemen have also been deployed on the Chandigarh-Punjab border for the PM’s visit.
3 helipads built
For PM Modi, 3 helipads have been built in front of the hospital. Electric poles have been removed from the surrounding areas. A road has been made by breaking the pavement around it. The road leading to the meeting place at Mullapur has been repaired. At present, the PM has a program to come back by helicopter. However, according to the Blue Book of PM Security, an alternate route has also been prepared by the administration.

PM returned last time due to security lapse
The last time the Prime Minister made such a visit was on January 5. He was to take part in the rally along with inaugurating the development project in Ferozepur. However, due to the farmers’ dharna, their convoy stood on the flyover of Pyaarana village in Ferozepur for 15 minutes.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting for the second time after a security lapse in connection with the inauguration of a project. Earlier, he had come to address an election rally after a security lapse.
Terming it as a security lapse, the PM returned to Delhi from there. At that time there was a Congress government in Punjab. After this, this is the first visit of PM in the government of Aam Aadmi Party. CM Bhagwant Mann will also be present in the program along with the PM.
