Three ministers held meeting with officials in Jalaun: Instructions to conduct survey in flood-hit areas, instructions to provide relief to families

Three ministers of the Uttar Pradesh government had reached Jalaun. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Nishad, Cabinet Minister of Fisheries Department, Minister (Independent Charge) of Cooperation Department, J.P.S. Under the chairmanship of Rathore and Minister of State for Energy and Alternative Energy Department, Somendra Tomar, a review meeting was held to review the development works and flood relief arrangements.

It was completed in the Rani Laxmibai Auditorium of Vikas Bhavan located in Orai, Jalaun. In which the three ministers instructed all the officers present that the areas where there was flood, those areas should be surveyed at the earliest. So that all possible help can be given to the flood affected people. All the ministers discussed the loss of life, animal loss, damage to houses and crops due to floods, so that relief can be provided to those families.

Instructions for distribution of medicines in flood affected areas

All the ministers jointly said in the review meeting that after the flood situation is created, the government administration should help the affected by starting the relief and rescue work rapidly. While directing the Chief Medical Officer, he said that medicines should be made available in the flood-affected areas, along with himself and the team of doctors, by setting up camps in such villages, he should treat the sick people, while he said that snakes at Community Health Center and Primary Health Center, Availability of medicines like scorpion etc should be ensured.

Take care of the convenience of women

District Magistrate Chandni Singh apprised the Group of Ministers that the flood situation had arisen in the district due to the rise in the water level in the Yamuna river, and relief and rescue operations were carried out in the flood-affected areas by the government administration. He apprised that the flood affected areas were continuously inspected and reviewed. He said that food kits, flood relief material, Dignity kits, lunch packets etc. have been distributed to the flood affected people. He said that as soon as information was received from the affected areas, pregnant women were given safe delivery after reaching by motor boat.

During the meeting, Cabinet Minister Sanjay Nishad said that it is the intention of the State Government that every eligible beneficiaries should be benefited by selfless schemes of public welfare schemes being run by the Central and State Governments. He said that the priority of the government is that the last person sitting in the row should get the benefit of all the schemes, no negligence should be taken in this. During this, all the ministers took a turn from various departments to inquire about the ongoing projects and their progress in various departments. While directing the Chief Veterinary Officer, he said that in all the districts where cow shelters have been built, all the basic needs should be fulfilled and arrangements for shady trees, water, green fodder should be ensured at every cow shelter.

In the review of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, directed that the work of EKYC and Bhulekh verification of all farmers should be completed soon. Ensure adequate quantity of manure and seeds. While directing the concerned officer of the electricity department, he said that the problem of over-willing should be taken into account immediately and resolved. He said that it has come to his notice that the officials of the Electricity Department do not receive the phone calls of the general public. He directed that the common man should not be harassed unnecessarily to improve his functioning, it should be ensured that strictest action will be taken against the officers who do not listen to the grievances of the general public on priority and resolve them.

He urged the concerned officers to work as per the target in One District One Product, Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana, Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme. During the review of the supply department, information about the Public Distribution System and Ujjwala Yojana was taken. Chief Minister Abhyudaya Yojana, Kanya Sumangala Yojana were reviewed. Directing the Panchayati Raj Department, he said that all the Panchayat houses should be completed and made functional, according to the target in PM Nidhi Yojana, the system of cleanliness should be maintained in the slums of the district.

Instructions to provide work to laborers in MNREGA

Directing the Basic Education Officer, he said that the distribution of books in schools, scholarship, quality education should be ensured. After knowing about the schemes run by the Fisheries Department, he instructed to give wide publicity to the schemes run by the necessary guidelines and to provide benefits of the schemes to more and more people. He said that by organizing camps and seminars, he directed to provide training to the fish farmers from time to time. He said that farmers can increase their income by doing fisheries along with farming. He said that by establishing coordination amongst all the officers, the benefits of public welfare schemes should be extended to the eligible beneficiaries. He said that maximum employment should be given to the people, ensuring that JCB machines are not used in the works being done under MNREGA.
