The country’s big tech company has planned to recruit here. Tech Mahindra has made a plan to recruit more than 20,000 people within the next 12 months i.e. 1 year.
Giving information on this matter, CP Gurnani, Managing Director of Tech Mahindra said that the company can give jobs to many people by next year. According to a report published in Business Today, Gurnani said that at present about 1.64 lakh people are working in the company before sleeping. In such a situation, now the company is planning to take the number of its employees to 1.84 lakh.
The company made new recruitments in the last quarter
Earlier, while releasing its quarterly results, the company said that the company has given jobs to about 5,877 new people in the IT service consultancy sector. In such a situation, the total number of employees of this sector of the company has gone up to 1,63,912. At the same time, a decrease of 22% has also been seen in the rate of leaving the job.
The company is focusing on its workforce
Along with this, the company’s managing director CP Gurnani said that at present 1.64 lakh people are working in Tech Mahindra, which is planned to increase to 1.84 lakh. In such a situation, the company is planning to use this increased workforce in a better way. Through this, the company is planning to work on skill development and global delivery model. Talking about last year, the company had recruited about 10,000 new people. Talking about the company’s second quarter results, there has been a decline of 4% in the net profit of the company and it is Rs 1,285 crore.
