Congress MP from Shri Anandpur Sahib Manish Tewari has demanded a judicial inquiry into the accident of breaking of the swing in Mohali. He told Mohali DC Amit Talwar that the culprits should be given strict punishment by fixing the responsibility in the whole matter.

Late last night in Mohali, a swing suddenly fell from a height of about 50 feet. Due to which about 20 people swinging in it suffered serious injuries. After which he has been admitted to hospitals in Chandigarh and Mohali for treatment.

Fair was organized in the name of London Bridge
A trade fair is organized in the name of London Bridge in the ground of Mohali. The fair was to last till September 11. During this, when the swing was at a height of about 50 feet last night, suddenly its cable broke. After which the swing came down in a few seconds. About 15 to 20 people were aboard at that time. Due to the fall of the swing, the people sitting in it have suffered a lot of injuries.
