The victim woman had approached the Inspector at Kodigehalli police station last month to lodge a complaint of cheating of more than Rs 15 lakh. According to the information, the inspector registered the complaint and also took the mobile number of the complainant. After a few days, started messaging him.
Hotel room key given to meet
According to the police report, the inspector had sent her unnecessary messages on WhatsApp. Along with this he was given a packet of dry fruits. Apart from this, the inspector also asked the woman to meet him, due to which he also gave her the key card of the hotel room. According to the information, when the woman could not tolerate the behavior of the police inspector, she complained about it to the DCP. After which the DCP ordered the ACP to investigate the incident and also asked to submit the report. Also ordered the inspector to go on leave.
Earlier, a case of molestation had come to light on the SHO of the Police Commissionerate. According to the information, the woman sub-inspector accused the SHO that he used to message her unnecessarily and was forcefully pressuring her to befriend him. Along with this, the woman sub-inspector had alleged that the SHO had also committed obscene acts with her on the day of Holi.
