Basic education department teacher Sangeeta died in suspicious circumstances in Moradabad.
A new twist has come in the case of death of teacher Sangeeta Singh (48) in Moradabad on the night of November 4 under suspicious circumstances. Sangeeta’s brother Ravi has given a complaint to the police accusing the brother-in-law of killing his sister by giving poison.
Ravi says that even after 26 years of his sister no child was born, because of this husband and in-laws used to harass Sangeeta everyday. It is alleged that on the night of November 4, Sangeeta was locked in the room by her husband and in-laws after poisoning her. Ravi says that Sangeeta herself told this thing by phone to her mother before she died.
Sangeeta died on the night of 4 November
Sangeeta Singh (48 years), a resident of Alakhnanda Colony in Majhola police station area of Moradabad, was a teacher in the Basic Education Department. She was posted at school Khana in Moradabad rural block. Sangeeta died under suspicious circumstances on the night of November 4 at around 7.30 pm. On the complaint of the parents, the police had completed the post-mortem of Sangeeta’s body by filling the Panchnama. In which Bisra has been kept for investigation in the apprehension of Poison.
Was married in 1996 to unemployed Brijpal
Sangeeta herself was a teacher in the Basic Education Department. But her husband Brijpal Singh was unemployed. Because of this too there were quarrels between the couple every day. According to Ravi, brother of Sangeeta, resident of Housing Development Civil Lines in the city, her sister was married in 1996 with Brijpal Singh son Deep Singh, resident of Alakhnanda Colony. Due to not having a child even for many years of marriage, Sangeeta adopted a baby girl 15 years ago. Brajpal was unemployed and in such a situation used to do petty work of property dealing.

Calling mother and said – save me from these poor
Sangeeta’s brother Ravi has claimed in the Tahrir given to the Majhola police that Sangeeta had called her mother Vimala Devi at around 7 pm on November 4. Then he told his mother on the call that mother, save me from these poor people, they will kill me. According to Ravi, Sangeeta had told mother Vimla that her husband Brijpal Singh and her in-laws had poisoned her and locked her in the room.
Husband ran away leaving dead body in hospital
Ravi told that after getting the sister’s call, he immediately ran to her in-laws’ house Alakhnanda Colony. There it was learned that he had been taken to Apex Hospital. When they reached there after running, they came to know about taking Vivekananda from there. Ravi claims that as soon as he reached Vivekananda Hospital, seeing him, brother-in-law Brajpal ran away from the spot. He took his sister Sangeeta to the district hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
