Parts of Shri Gutka Sahib have been found near a peepal tree in the old ruined building of the Civil Hospital in Phagwara. Somebody had deliberately thrown the organs here by doing mischief.

The incident came to light when people came to clean the ruined building. He saw the parts of the holy book near the old building. With immediate effect, he informed his officers as well as informed the police. The police station is also only 250-300 meters away from where the incident took place.

The Sikh Jathebandis gathered the parts of the holy scripture on the spot and took them to the Gurughar Sri Sukhchain Sahib. Sukhdev Singh and others, who reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported, condemned the incident.
