Police writing statements of family members in village Saraswati Kheda.
Husband and wife were crushed to death after the roof of the house collapsed in Saraswati Kheda village of Pehowa in Kurukshetra, Haryana. Both had come here in relation. On getting information, the police reached the spot and took the bodies of both of them into custody.
According to the information received, Joga Singh, a resident of Patiala and his wife had come for the enjoyment of the mother of Harbans Singh, a resident of Saraswati Kheda village. On Thursday night everyone went to sleep after having dinner. The roof of the house collapsed on Friday morning. Other family members pulled both of them out from under the rubble and took them to the hospital. Where doctors declared both dead.

Police station in-charge Nirmal Singh said that as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. In the initial investigation, it has come to the fore that both of them died due to the collapse of the roof. At present, the bodies of both have been taken into custody. Will be handed over after the postmortem is done.
