Man buried in rubble after roof collapses.
The roof of the house collapsed due to rain in Bathinda, Punjab. Five people, including children sleeping in the house, were buried under the rubble. The Life Saving Brigade Helpline team of Sahara Jan Seva reached the spot on information and reached the spot with an ambulance. During this, people were pulled out from the rubble with the help of people. 4 people have been seriously injured in the accident. While one woman died.
The roof of a house collapsed at around 2:00 pm on Saturday night due to heavy rain in Dhobiana Basti of Bathinda. During this, 5 people sleeping under the roof were buried under the rubble. Vidya Devi (60) wife Ram Singh resident Chak Fateh Singh Wala died due to being buried under the debris.
While Sati Singh (35) son Gurjant Singh resident Ablu Kotli, Ramandeep Kaur (24) resident Kutiwal Wala, Ekam (5) son Mani Singh, Satnam (3) son Yadvinder were seriously injured. Sahara Jan Seva President Gautam Goyal said that the injured family had no means to perform the rites of the deceased. On coming to know, the team of Sahara Jan Seva Sandeep Gill, Vicky Kumar performed the rites of the deceased with full respect.
