Sumer Singh was shot dead last night
In the police station Shahganj area of Agra last night, the miscreants shot the tent businessman sleeping on the terrace with his family in the head. He died during treatment. The family members have accused a youth of the locality. Police are interrogating two people by taking them into custody.
According to the information, Sumer Singh, a resident of Prakash Nagar of Shahganj police station, used to work in shoes 37 years ago. A few months back he had opened a tent house. Sumer was originally from Aligarh and was living in a rented house in Shahganj for a long time. His wife Preeti and two innocent children also lived here with him.
After Sumer’s death, Preeti is completely unconscious and the children are crying incessantly.
According to Preeti, the wife of the deceased, the family was sleeping under three sheds on the roof of the house last night. At the behest of her husband, the light was switched off around 12 o’clock. Around 1 o’clock there was a sudden firing and as soon as I got up I saw the shooters were running. Below the husband was lying in a pool of blood.
The neighbors immediately informed the matter to the police. The police who came to the spot sent the injured to SN Medical College for treatment. Sumer died during treatment. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem.

According to Preeti, the wife of the deceased, six months ago, the husband had a fight with a young man from the same locality. The husband had a scuffle with her after she was sexually assaulted by the young man while intoxicated. After intervening by the people, he had threatened that he would not let me live for more than six months.
According to SO Shahganj Jasveer Sirohi, the suspects are being questioned in the case. A case is being registered on the basis of the family’s Tahrir and investigation.
