The State Teachers Association will submit a memorandum to the district administration in the name of the Chief Minister on September 25 regarding their pending demands on the provincial call. Union District President Bhim Dhote said on Friday that many times the administration was requested to fulfill other demands including restoration of old pension, but till date the demands of the Sangh have not been fulfilled. Angered by this, the teachers have decided to submit a memorandum to the district administration in the name of the Chief Minister on September 25 at the district headquarters. Even after this, if the demands are not met, then on October 9, all the teachers will protest in Bhopal. He has urged all the teachers of the district to be present at the district headquarters on September 25.
Time to come will be full of difficulties for Shivraj
District President Bhim Dhote said that the coming time is going to be full of difficulties for the Shivraj government, which is successful in forming the government continuously on the strength of the employees. Employees of every department of MP are currently agitating on the demand of old pension. The teacher cadre whom Shivraj has been considering as his vote bank, at this time he is going to launch a big movement in protest against him by taking out a justice march across the state.
He said that our main demand is the restoration of old pension. But for the last 4 years, the matter of seniority of teachers has been entangled by the government. Since the formation of the State Education Service in 2018, the government has not been able to define seniority itself, due to which there is a situation of resentment and uncertainty among the teachers. The government is silent on the same promotion-promotion, compassionate and newly appointed teachers’ probation and full salary. Guruji should be given the benefit of seniority, computer operators, MIS coordinators, MRCs and guest teachers appointed in all departments should be regularized.
