Why did Turkey air strike on Syria?
Turkey’s air strike on Syria and Iraq on Sunday was believed to be a response to the bomb blast in the capital Istanbul a week ago. A total of 6 people were killed and a total of 81 people were injured in this blast in Istanbul’s Taksim Square.
Turkey’s Vice President had termed the attack as a terrorist attack and said that it was a suicide attack by a woman. Government sources and intelligence agencies had told the hand of Kurdish separatists behind this attack.
