Lucknow: A heart-wrenching video is going viral on social media in Lucknow, the capital of UP. In this video, a man riding an SUV hit an e-rickshaw driver. After this, the rickshaw puller got stuck in the SUV and dragged for about 150 metres. After some time, the e-rickshaw driver died on the spot after falling from the car. After this the SUV driver fled. In the case, the police have seized the vehicle of the accused and registered a case. The accused is being searched.
CCTV footage surfaced
CCTV footage of the case of the death of an e-rickshaw driver in a road accident came to the fore on Monday. Actually, the rickshaw driver was hanging on the window after hitting the SUV. After this, the SUV driver instead of stopping the vehicle, ran fast. During this, the e-rickshaw driver kept on shouting. Then after driving the SUV for about 150 metres, the rickshaw driver fell on the road and died.
E-rickshaw driver was a resident of Kaiserbagh
The e-rickshaw driver was a resident of Kaiserbagh and his name was Jeetu. His age was 40 years. This incident took place on Sunday afternoon between Swasthya Bhawan intersection and Parivartan Chowk. At present, the police have seized the vehicle by registering a case on the basis of the registration number of the SUV. The police gathered the CCTV footage installed near the spot. The person riding the SUV is currently absconding.

According to Inspector Hazratganj Akhilesh Mishra, the SUV has been seized. The name of the SUV owner is Gopal Aggarwal and he is a resident of Aliganj Sector-B. Continuous raids are being done to nab the accused.
