BJP workers on Saturday protested outside the AAP office against CM Arvind Kejriwal over the alleged liquor scam in Delhi. The workers raised slogans against Kejriwal. BJP is accusing Aam Aadmi Party of corruption. CM Kejriwal’s resignation is being demanded after AAP’s name appears in ED’s charge sheet.
Assembly Leader of Opposition Ramveer Singh Vidhuri, State Working President Virendra Sachdeva and General Secretary Kuljit Singh Chahal were also present in this demonstration. During this, Sachdeva said that in 1995 Madan Lal Khurana resigned when allegations were leveled against him. If there is morality in Kejriwal, then he should resign if his name appears in the ED charge sheet.
During the demonstration, General Secretary Kuljit Singh Chahal climbed the barricades.
AAP invests liquor scam money in Goa elections
Two days ago, the ED claimed that AAP used Delhi liquor scam money for election campaign in Goa. In the charge sheet filed in the court, the ED alleged that Vijay Nair, one of the accused in the scam, got Sameer Mahendru, MD of liquor company Indospirits, to talk to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. This conversation was done through a FaceTime video call made from Vijay’s phone.
Kejriwal said – ED’s charge sheet is completely fictitious
CM Kejriwal termed ED’s allegations as completely imaginary. Kejriwal said that ED would have filed 5000 chargesheets during the tenure of this government. How many of them were punished? ED cases are fake. They don’t file cases to end corruption. ED is used to buy and sell MLAs, form and break governments. Hence, the ED’s charge sheet is completely fictitious.
Deputy CM main accused in liquor scam case
On the recommendation of Delhi’s LG Saxena, the ED had started an investigation into the alleged scam in the liquor policy. Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was made the prime accused in the case and was interrogated. Other accused in the case include the then Excise Commissioner Arva Gopi Krishna, Deputy Commissioner Anand Tiwari and Assistant Commissioner Pankaj Bhatnagar. The AAP had claimed that the matter, which came to light during the Gujarat elections, was a diversionary tactic by the BJP. After which BJP won the elections. ED officials interrogated Sisodia for nine hours.

FIR was registered on Sisodia on August 17, 3 excise officers in it
CBI raided 21 places in 7 states including the residence of Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in Delhi’s excise scam. The raid lasted for about 12 hours. The officers of the investigating agency had reached Sisodia’s house at 8.30 am on August 19.
A big thing related to the case had come to the fore. In fact, the CBI had registered an FIR against 15 people including Manish Sisodia on August 17, two days before the raid. In this, it was claimed that a liquor businessman had given one crore rupees to Manish Sisodia’s aide. Read full news…
CBI filed charge sheet in Delhi liquor scam, 7 accused in 10 thousand pages
The CBI has filed a 10,000-page charge sheet on Friday against 7 accused in the Delhi liquor policy scam. Delhi’s Deputy CM Sisodia’s name is not there in this. ED raids 25 locations in Delhi liquor scam
ED raided 25 places in the Delhi liquor scam case. During this, the agency had carried out searches at several locations including the residences of several liquor traders in the capital. Earlier also ED and CBI have raided more than 100 places in this case. Earlier the agency had carried out searches at the houses of some politicians, former bureaucrats and businessmen.
