A pregnant woman was shot by her neighbor in North Delhi’s K Siraspur, causing her to miscarry. The bullet hit the woman’s neck. The woman’s only fault was that she refused to let the neighbor play a fast DJ, after which she fired at the woman.
Presently the woman is admitted in a hospital in Delhi, her condition is critical. The police have arrested the accused Harish who opened fire and the owner of the gun, Amit.

Ranju was 8 months pregnant.
Well worship was being done at the house of accused Harish, who lives in Siraspur. He organized a party for it, in which the DJ was playing. The victim woman Ranju asked Harish, who lives on the other side of the road, to reduce the DJ’s volume. But instead of agreeing, Harish took out Amit’s gun and fired at Ranju. Ranju was standing in the balcony at that time.
According to the police, the news of the firing incident was received at around 12:15 pm. On reaching the location, it was found that Ranju, who was injured, has been admitted to Max Hospital in Shalimar Bagh. Deputy Commissioner of Police Ravi Kumar Singh said that Ranju has been shot in the neck and is not in a condition to give a statement.
Ranju’s family has come from Bihar
Injured Ranju’s mother Sandhya told the police that Ranju’s husband works as a labourer. There are three children in his family. These people are residents of Bihar and live in a rented house in Siraspur. His daughter had a miscarriage due to the bullet. Presently Ranju is undergoing treatment. Further surgery may be required.
According to the police, the accused Harish works as a delivery boy and Amit works at a mobile repair shop. Both have been arrested.
