Stock Market Closing On 23rd August 2022: After seeing a big drop in the trading session of two days, Tuesday’s trading day was full of good luck for the stock market. On the second trading day of the week, the Indian stock market closed sharply due to the buying of investors. Sensex has again managed to cross the 59,000 mark. At the end of trading today, the Sensex of the Mumbai Stock Exchange rose 257 points to 59,031 and the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange rose 86 points to close at 17,577 points. By the way, in the morning the market was open with a big fall. The Sensex saw a recovery of about 950 points from the lower level and 250 points in the Nifty.
Sector’s condition
In the market today, except the IT sector, the shares of all other sectors were up. Apart from banking, auto, pharma, FMCG, energy, metals, consumer durables, oil and gas, media sector stocks were buying. Midcap and small cap stocks also saw a rise. Of the 50 stocks of Nifty, 41 stocks closed in the green, while 9 shares closed in the red mark. So out of 30 stocks of Sensex, only 23 stocks closed in green mark while 7 were closed in red mark.

If we look at the stocks rising in the market, Mahindra 3.78 percent, Eicher Motors 3.02 percent, Bajaj Finserv 2.72 percent, Titan Company 2.59 percent, Tata Steel 2.43 percent, Hindalco 2.25 percent, Coal India 2.08 percent, SBI 2.07 percent, Grasim 2 percent, UPL closed with a gain of 1.99 percent.

Looking at the falling stocks, Infosys 2.11 percent, TCS 2.09 percent, Divi’s Lab 1.35 percent, HCL Tech 1.31 percent, HUL 1.29 percent, Tech Mahindra 1.19 percent, Adani Ports 0.92 percent, Wipro 0.80 percent, HDFC Bank 0.31 percent, Larsen 0.19. Closed with a drop of percentage.
