Stock Market Closing On 26th August 2022: The Indian stock market has closed in the green on the last trading day of the week. But the speed with which the market opened in the morning. The market lost its major gains during the day’s trade. At the end of trading today, the Sensex of the Mumbai Stock Exchange closed with a marginal gain of 59 points at 58,833 and the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 17,558 points with a gain of 36.45 points.
Sector’s condition
Sectors like Pharma, Media, Real Estate, FMCG declined in today’s session in the market, while buying was seen in the shares of Consumer Durables, IT, Banking, Auto, Energy, Metals, Oil and Gas Sector. Indices of midcap and small cap stocks have also closed in the green. Of the 50 stocks of Nifty, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 shares saw a decline. So out of 30 stocks of Sensex, only 21 stocks closed in green mark, 9 closed in red mark. In all 12 of the Bank Nifty, 7 shares have closed in the red mark with the rise of 7 stocks.

If we look at the stocks rising in the market, then Grasim 3.10 percent, NTPC 2.83 percent, JSW Steel 2.82 percent, Titan Company 2.69 percent, Adani Ports 2.66 percent, Coal India 2.25 percent, Power Grid 1.83 percent, Kotak Mahindra 1.78 percent, Shree Cements 1.77 Percentage, Hindalco 1.69 percent, SBI Life closed with a gain of 1.29 percent.

If we look at the falling stocks, Eicher Morts fell 3.63 percent, IndusInd Bank 1.85 percent, Bharti Airtel 1.37 percent, Asian Paints 1.16 percent, HDFC 0.95 percent, HDFC Life 0.73 percent, Reliance 0.53 percent, Cipla 0.48 percent, UPL 0.35 percent. Closed together.
