SSC CHSL notification 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Tuesday, May 9 released a notification inviting applications to fill approximately 1600 vacancies through Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2023. These vacancies are tentative and the final vacancy position will be informed in due course.
The Commission will hold a competitive examination to fill Group C posts viz. Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals.
The computer-based objective type Tier-I examination will be held in August 2023. The dates for Tier II exam (descriptive paper) will be notified later.
Interested candidates can apply for the exam online through SSC website till 11pm on June 8. Aspirants should check the eligibility and other details carefully before applying for the posts.
The last date for payment of fees is till 11pm on June 10. The application fee for General candidates is ₹100 per application and can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
Candidates who make cash payment through the challan of SBI, may make payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to June 12 provided the challan has been generated by them before 11pm on June 11.
“Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee,” reads the official notification.
