Indian Railways has decided to run a new train from New Delhi to Mata Vaishno Devi route. This train will run from 8th April. Special train number 04077 from New Delhi Railway Station will leave for Mata Vaishno Devi Station Katra at 11:15 PM and will reach Katra at 11:25 AM.
Train will reach Katra taking passengers from 11 stations
Railway officials told that there is a huge crowd of passengers on the rail route of Mata Vaishno Devi. Many passengers do not get confirmed tickets. It has been decided to run special trains to instill the faith of passengers and reduce crowding in trains. This special train will make two trips daily. Train number 04078 will leave Katra at 6:10 PM and reach Delhi at 6:40 AM.
After leaving New Delhi, the train will reach Mata Vaishno Devi station in Katra taking passengers from 11 stations including Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot, Jammu Tawi, Udhampur stations. General, sleeper class and AC class coaches have been installed in the train for the passengers.
