Soon after, police arrived at Gacy’s home with a search warrant. When the police started the search, there was a smell of about 30 dead bodies buried in the four feet crawl space under his house. After this the police arrested him and sent him to jail. The court convicted Wayne Gacy on 33 counts of murder, with additional counts of rape and torture, and was sentenced to death by lethal injection in 1994.
