Overall, this year, since January, dengue has been confirmed in 116 patients. Out of this, more than 70 cases have come in a month. This has given sleepless nights to the health department. Due to the increasing outbreak of dengue, a separate ward has been made in the Medical College and District Hospital.
No platelets of negative group
If symptoms of dengue are seen, consult a doctor immediately.
A dengue ward has been set up in the district hospital at Minerba intersection in Jhansi. However, till Monday evening the ward was locked and not a single patient was admitted. First of all, the platelets count of a dengue positive patient starts decreasing. Platelets have to be offered when it is too low.
The blood bank staff of the district hospital say that they have a stock of 19 units of platelets till Monday evening. The platelets unit of rare blood group AB negative, B negative and O negative was not even one. Since platelets get spoiled in 5 to 6 days. That’s why they provide blood and platelets to the people with the help of the organization when needed.
More confirmed in two patients
Till Monday morning, the number of dengue patients was 114. In the report that came in the evening, dengue has been confirmed in two more patients. According to the Health Department, a 16-year-old girl from Karguwan village and a 26-year-old youth from Poonch have been found dengue positive.
No death due to dengue in the district
District Malaria Officer RK Gupta said that 116 dengue patients have been found so far. No death has been reported from dengue so far. 4 patients are admitted in the Medical College. Health updates are being taken by talking to him on the phone daily. At the same time, fogging is being done in the city with the help of the Municipal Corporation. Which is being continuously monitored.
BSP leader said died of dengue
BSP leader Lalaram Ahirwar says that son Virendra had got dengue. This worsened his condition and he died on Monday morning in a private hospital. At the same time, CMO Sudhakar Pandey said that Virendra did not die of dengue. Talked to the owner of the private hospital. He told that the kidney had failed due to viral fever. Virendra did not have symptoms of dengue.
