Singapore Crime News: An Indian-origin man was sentenced to six weeks in jail for stealing three Coca-Cola cans from a minimart in a housing estate in Singapore. The man has been identified as 61-year-old Jaswinder Singh Dilbra Singh, who has confessed to his crime in the theft case.

Earlier also in Singapore, a 29-year-old girl of Indian origin was found guilty of defrauding the bank. The court sentenced the convicted woman to six months’ imprisonment. Court has said that the woman used forged documents to get loan from Citibank. Such cases are coming to the fore from Singapore, in which people of Indian origin are being found accused. Last week, a man was also sentenced to two years in prison for drunken driving.
