Azamgarh Court has sentenced Shyam Babu Pasi, a henchman of Mafia Mukhtar Ansari, to eight years in jail. Along with this, a fine of five thousand rupees has also been imposed on the accused. The accused Shyam Babu Pasi, resident of Veerpur police station, Mehnagar, Azamgarh, has been found guilty and sentenced to eight years’ rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. Shyam Babu is also an accused in the case registered in the 2014 case.
There are 11 accused, including Mukhtar Ansari, in the case of firing during road construction in Era Kala under Tarwan police station area of Azamgarh in 2014. A laborer was killed in this incident. Mukhtar Ansari was accused of conspiracy in this case. Rajendra Passi, Shyam Babu Passi, Harikesh Yadav, Rajesh Singh, Mohan Passi, Rajan Passi, Abhilesh Mishra, Pankaj Yadav, Umesh Singh and Anuj Kanojia were involved in this case along with Mukhtar. Shyam Babu Pasi is lodged in the jail of Bulandshahr, UP. Shyam Babu Pasi used to work for Mukhtar Gang.
