Delhi Police will present accused Aftab Poonawalla in the Shraddha murder case in Saket court today. Delhi Police is preparing to get Aftab’s narco test done. If this blood is of a human, then the police can call Shraddha’s father to Delhi for DNA matching. DNA test will be done on 13 pieces of Shraddha’s body.

According to sources, during interrogation, Aftab told the police that on May 18, the day of the murder, there was a fight between Shraddha and him over domestic expenses. An argument started between the two about who would pay for the daily expenses, only after that he killed Shraddha.
Let us tell you that another information has come out in the police inquiry, in which it has been told that after the incident, Aftab had withdrawn 55 thousand rupees from Shraddha’s account. According to sources, he had spent these expenses from buying a fridge to buying sharp knives and garbage bags.

The doctor was made the main witness of the incident
The doctor who had treated Aftab’s amputated hand in May has been made a key witness by the police. Please tell that when the police searched Aftab’s flat, they found a doctor’s prescription. After this, the police reached the doctor’s clinic in Mehrauli with Aftab. Then the doctor told about Aftab’s identity and treatment.

Traces of blood were found from Aftab’s kitchen

Dead body cut into 35 pieces in bathroom, blood shed in sewage
The news agency quoted police sources as saying that Aftab had cut Shraddha’s body into 35 pieces in the bathroom of the flat. Sources have also told that Aftab had cleaned the fridge with chemicals so that the evidence could be destroyed.
According to the police, 28-year-old Aftab had murdered 27-year-old Shraddha on May 18. Both lived in live-in. Aftab had cut Shraddha’s body into 35 pieces. Bought a 300 liter fridge to keep them. He used to go to the forest every night at 2 am for 18 days to throw the pieces of the dead body.

A police officer said- Aftab was used to watching web series and especially crime shows. Seeing them, he learned how to show Shraddha alive in the eyes of family and friends. The idea of cutting Shraddha’s body parts with a saw and keeping them safe in the fridge and keeping her in the jungles for 18 days continuously was also learned from these web series and crime shows. He had also found a way to clean blood through Google.
6. Had already made up his mind to kill before May 18
According to sources, Aftab confessed to the police that Aftab had made up his mind to kill Shraddha a week before the day of the murder i.e. May 18. Shraddha and Aftab had a fight that day too. He said, ‘I had decided to kill her only on May 11 that she suddenly became emotional and started crying. So I decided that now I will kill it some other day.

Mumbai Police interrogated Aftab thrice in two months
Sampatrao Patil, assistant police inspector of Mumbai’s Vasai police station, told Bhaskar that the family had filed a complaint after Shraddha went missing. The police had called Aftab Poonawala first in October and again on November 3 for questioning. His two-page statement was recorded.
