Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has once again said that he is a party worker. I cannot decide any role for myself. If the party leadership asks, then I am also ready to lay the carpet. Shivraj has repeated this thing in Delhi. Where he had reached to attend the meeting of the National Executive. Responding to a question asked by the English newspaper ET (Economic Times), the CM said that a good worker follows the orders of the party. He doesn’t take decisions on his own. The party knows what work to take from which worker.
Shivraj was asked that leaving the state, where do you see yourself in national politics. On this, Shivraj said that I am only a common worker of BJP. Talking about elections, he said that every year is an election year for us. We keep working on it regularly. The concept of election year is for those who do not work for four years. Over the years, my aim has been to work for a self-reliant Madhya Pradesh, focusing on infrastructure, education, health and jobs.
Shivraj was thrown out of the BJP Parliamentary Board 5 months ago, when he had said that there should be no personal ambition in politics.
I have already said that I will do whatever the party says.
Five months ago, when Shivraj Singh was thrown out of the BJP Parliamentary Board, he had also said that it is not important to me that I am the only one. If the party gives me the job of laying a carpet, I will do it in the interest of the nation. The party will say that if you stay in Jait (Chief Minister’s home village), then I will stay there. The party will say that if you stay in Bhopal, I will stay in Bhopal. There should be no personal ambition in politics.
Then Shivraj had said that BJP is a big family. Some move forward in its flow and some come out. There is a team at the central level which decides who has to do what work. As we decide in the state. Shivraj said- All those who have been included in the parliamentary board by National President JP Nadda are eligible. In this East-West, North-South have been kept in mind.
In an interview given to an English newspaper, Shivraj said that a good worker follows every order of the party. He doesn’t take decisions on his own.
Never imagined that I would become an MLA as well
Then Shivraj had said that we Bharatiya Janata Party workers have been working for years keeping a big goal in front of us. When I started work, I did not know that someday I would become an MLA. At the age of 17, he was sent to jail for opposing the Emergency. Joined JP Movement in 1974. Then became an activist of the student council. I had never imagined that I would become MLA, MP, Minister… I could never have thought of Chief Minister.

CM Shivraj’s helicopter waved in the air: the pilot said – there was a mess, CM said – now all trust God; made an emergency landing
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s helicopter suddenly broke down while returning from an election meeting at Manawar in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. The helicopter had just taken off with the CM when the pilot heard some noises from the engine. The helicopter started waving in the air, on which the pilot, showing understanding, made an emergency landing of the helicopter in Manawar itself.
