The committee that organized the Chaubari Mela of Bareilly installed lights in the fair area but did not light the lights at the right time. This could have led to a major incident in the fair area.

Despite being told by the police, when the lights were not lit on time. Due to the seriousness and negligence of the matter, the police have registered a case against seven people of the Mela Committee.

Fair will run till November 11

In-charge Inspector Mela Chaubari Anil Kumar said that the fair is to be organized in Chaubari from November 4 to 11. Thousands of devotees will participate in the fair to take a bath.

A Mela Core Committee has been constituted for the smooth conduct of the fair. By which all the lighting and other works have been done in the fair and the works are to be done by the Mela Core Committee. During this, great care was taken by the Mela Committee in lighting the lights.

Electricity not lit even after night

When security arrangements were seen during the inspection at the fair, the core committee did not turn on the lights before nightfall. He did this intentionally. Even after being told by the police, the core committee did not start the lights. Due to this, any serious incident could have happened there.

On the complaint of Inspector Anil Kumar, the Cantt Police has registered a report against Gurdeep Pandey, Mohit Kumar, Shankar Singh, Mohit Singh, Hariraj Singh, Shyamveer and Satish Singh for negligence in work.

Police station in-charge said negligence

Inspector Cantt Balbir Singh said that the lights were not lit at the right time due to negligence by the people of the committee. Because of the darkness, something big could have happened there.

The people of the committee were also warned by the police, but even after that the people of the commentary did not deliberately light the lights. Considering the seriousness of the matter, 7 people have been booked in this case.
