Chhagan Bhujbal Covid Positive: Former Maharashtra minister and senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal has once again come under the grip of Corona. He himself informed about this on Tuesday. Earlier, when Corona was at its peak, Bhujbal had become Corona positive. Bhujbal was recently on a tour of his constituency Yeola in Nashik district. When he was returning from Yeola, he had fever at that time. After this, his corona test was done on Monday in which he was found positive.
Appeal to the people who came in contact to get tested
He has appealed to all the people who came in contact with him in the last 2-3 days to get tested for corona. Apart from this, he appealed to the people to take precautions regarding corona like wearing masks and using sanitizers. Officials said that Nashik district registered 11 new cases of corona on Tuesday, with this the total number of corona cases in the district has gone up to 4,82,642.
Most active cases in Pune, Mumbai, Thane
An official said that 205 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra on Monday. With this, the total number of corona cases in the state has increased to 81,42,059 while the death toll from corona has increased to 1,48,435. According to the Corona Bulletin issued by the Health Department from the state, Pune currently has the maximum (619) active cases of Corona. After this, there are 589 active cases in Mumbai, 399 in Thane and 2,212 active cases in the entire state.
