Chandigarh District Court has issued non-bailable warrants against Punjab Government MLA Professor Baljinder Kaur. The court has issued warrants in the two-year-old case. It is being told that Baljinder Kaur was not appearing in the court for the last two years.

Not only this, earlier the court had also issued bailable warrants against the MLA, but if the MLA did not appear in the court even then, now non-bailable warrants have come out. Sector-3 police station had filed a charge sheet in the court last year.

Many other leaders and MLAs are involved in this case including Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The accused have been booked under sections 147, 149, 332, 353. Many of the accused have already taken anticipatory bail from the court, while Baljinder Kaur did not appear in the court.

The incident is of January 2020. The issue of expensive electricity was hot in Punjab. Hundreds of AAP workers and leaders had come to surround the Chief Minister’s residence while protesting on the streets. During this, the leaders had a scuffle with the police.

Inspector Malkit Singh, constable Vineet Kumar and lady constable Manpreet Kaur were injured in this entire incident. Sector-3 Chandigarh Police Station had registered a case against these people on the complaint of Manpreet.

Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate for Talwandi Sabo assembly seat, Prof. Baljinder Kaur has won for the second time. Mohinder Singh Sidhu won the second position from Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Baljinder Kaur Ko defeated Mohinder Singh Sidhu by nearly 15 thousand votes.

Professor Baljinder Kaur is the senior MLA of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab. In Punjab, AAP’s founder member Baljinder Kaur has become MLA for the second time from Talwandi Sabo.
