Actor Sarah Shahi, renowned for her standout performance in the hit series Sex/Life, recently discussed her experience working alongside Adam Demos. Shahi revealed that she doesn’t feel the need to put on an act while sharing the screen with her boyfriend, and considers it a special privilege to star in films with him. Due to their natural off-screen chemistry, Sarah effortlessly delivers authentic portrayals of love scenes and intense fight sequences. Working alongside Adam also makes her job a breeze. Interestingly, the couple also starred together in Sex/Life, which dropped all six episodes of its second season on Netflix for binge-watching since March 2, 2023. She provided a comprehensive explanation of how working with Adam Demos comes naturally to her during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. She told, “I feel lucky because I kind of take myself out of the situation and I have a bird’s eye view of myself and him working together. It makes my job so much easier because if it’s a love scene or it’s a fight scene or whatever it is, all I have to do is look at him and the words become real.”
She called it a privilege to work with her favourite human, and said, “It’s almost like an experiment. It’s like a privilege to be able to work with the person you love and also, your characters are simulating real-life things as well. It actually makes my job a little bit easier. I don’t have to pretend, which is nice.”
Adam, recently joined PEOPLE in 10 to discuss the second season of the Netflix series. During the interview, He opened up about his girlfriend and co-star, Sarah, and shared three reasons why he loves her. He highlighted that her heart was the most significant factor and expressed this to Makho Ndlovu, the host of the show. Adam also praised Sarah’s kindness, which he believes is everything to him. When asked about the third reason, he playfully suggested that everything about she could be the third factor. He also emphasized that he is she is biggest supporter and admires her for being extraordinary in every aspect of life.
The audience has positively acknowledged the chemistry between the couple on and off-camera. The two have been in a romantic relationship since meeting on the set of Sex/Life in 2021.
