Prithvi Shaw Brawl Case: Social media influencer Sapna Gill and other accused in the scuffle with Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw have been granted bail by the court on a personal bond of Rs 10,000. After getting bail, Sapna Gill had a special conversation with ABP News, in which Gill told what had happened that night. Gill has also made many serious allegations against Prithvi Shaw and his friends.
‘Prithvi Shaw and his friends killed me’
During the conversation, Sapna Gill told that the mistake was not ours. Prithvi Shaw had killed us. Then they lodged an FIR against us. I didn’t ask for any selfie. I don’t even know them. Had not even heard his name till date. I only know the name of the big Indian cricketer. He was standing near me. Still I could not recognize him. When I was in police custody, many people were asking me, what happened, so I told that there was a fight with Prithvi Shaw, then they said who is this. That night the music was loud in the club, my friends were making videos in selfie mode. After which Prithvi Shaw and his friends started killing my friend. He threw my friend’s phone.
‘He hit my private part’
Sapna Gill showed the injury marks and said that they were 10 to 15 people and we were only 2 people. I tried to stop him a lot but he did not agree. I said don’t fight but then they started hitting me. He hit on my private part. Hit me on the arm with a baseball bat. Sapna Gill further told that in the video which has surfaced, you can see that Prithvi Shaw was seen very drunk. He was also angry. He was about to kill my friend so I came in between and then he hit me.
‘The police officer helped us’
Gill said that me and Shobhit were the only two people, so we started calling the police and we followed them so that we could get their report written. When he reached the premises of Oshiwara police station, the police officer there helped us. Prithvi Shaw and his friends apologized to us, the police also asked us what to do, we showed a big heart and let them go. But the next day in the evening, Prithvi Shaw himself complained to us. Although it was not our fault at all.
‘I was having thoughts of suicide’
Sapna Gill further said, I have not asked for Rs 50,000, if you have asked then show us the proof. This allegation is absolutely wrong. Prithvi was very drunk, he had also hit a scooty rider while driving. I am not aware of the footage obtained by the police, but Prithvi Shaw is entirely at fault. He has done a lot of wrong to me. When I was in police custody, I became so sad that I was having thoughts of suicide. Today we have filed a complaint with the police. We will try our best to get justice.
