Imran Khan Convicted In Tosha Khana Case: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Friday (October 21) disqualified former Prime Minister Imran Khan for five years and terminated his membership of Parliament. After this decision of the Election Commission, Imran’s supporters created a ruckus there. There is also news of firing there in protest against this decision of the Election Commission. Actually, the Election Commission has convicted former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case. The Election Commission had reserved its decision in this matter on 19 September. A four-member commission headed by Pakistan’s Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja gave the verdict and said that criminal proceedings will be initiated against Imran Khan if he is involved in corrupt practices.

PTI workers have blocked Islamabad Expressway for this decision against Imran Khan. Supporters of Imran Khan are protesting in Iqbal Town near Islamabad Expressway. Seeing the protest of the activists, the police fired tear gas shells at them to disperse them. At the same time, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi issued a statement saying that Imran Khan is the chairman of the party and will continue to do so.

He said that Imran will take his decision by understanding this situation. Shah Mehmood Qureshi further said that the people of Pakistan have rejected the ruling PDM in the by-elections. After this decision of the Election Commission, protests are taking place in the whole country against it.

Imran Khan received gifts of 142 crore 42 thousand Pakistani rupees from Toshakhana. All these valuable gifts to Imran Khan were given by the rulers of Arab countries during their visits. Imran Khan had deposited all this in Toshakhana, but later Imran bought them from Toshakhana at cheap prices and sold them for profit. It is alleged that his government had also given legal permission in this.
