Bulandshahr Crime: During an encounter in the joint action of Uttar Pradesh’s Special Task Force (STF) and police late on Sunday night in Gulavathi police station area of Bulandshahr district, Sahab Singh, carrying a reward of Rs 1.25 lakh, was killed. Officials gave this information on Monday. Senior Superintendent of Police Shlok Kumar told that late on Sunday night, a joint team of Gulavathi police station and STF had an encounter with a criminal, in which the criminal was killed. He has been identified as Sahab Singh alias Sunil Singh, a member of the infamous Bawariya gang, resident of Firozabad district.
Team formed under the leadership of SP
Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) (Noida Unit) Kuldeep Narayan said that a team was formed under the leadership of STF Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajkumar Mishra to nab the notorious miscreants. He said that on Sunday night, the team received information that some miscreants are coming to the Gulavathi police station area of Bulandshahr district with the intention of carrying out a major incident. On the basis of the information, the STF along with the police started the investigation. During this, the police saw some miscreants coming. When they were signaled to stop, they started running while firing at the police. He told that a miscreant was injured due to firing in police retaliatory action, who was taken to the hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Many serious cases were registered
In a case related to Gonda district, a reward of Rs 1 lakh was declared on the miscreant and in a case of Bulandshahr, a reward of Rs 25 thousand was declared. So far information about six cases has been received against him, in which many serious cases like dacoity and murder during dacoity were registered. SP Kumar told that three policemen were also injured during the encounter. Those who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The body of the miscreant has been sent for postmortem. The police is conducting raids to nab the remaining members of the notorious Bawariya gang.
