The police has arrested a rewarded crook of Rs 10,000 for killing a retired sub-inspector in Gwalior’s Srivihar Colony. He has been arrested by the police from Bangalore, a city in South India. Seeing the police, he boarded a train. The police also boarded the train behind him. He was arrested after a struggle of about 2 hours. He, along with his three other accomplices, carried out the robbery at the retired policeman’s house and then killed the policeman on waking up from his sleep. Three accused have already been arrested.

Two years ago, four miscreants had entered the house of Retired Sub Inspector Meghsingh Rajawat, resident of Srivihar Colony located in Bahodapur Ghosipura of the city. When he was on his way after committing the crime, the retired policeman woke up. When they protested, the accused killed the retired sub-inspector. The incident had created a sensation in the entire city. The police took the matter as a challenge. Within seven days, three accused were arrested and disclosed the entire murder case, but Mayaram, one of the accused in the murder, was absconding. The police had been looking for him for two years. On this, a reward of Rs 10,000 was also announced by the Superintendent of Police. The police had been searching for him for a long time.
8 days siege then bounty murder accused trapped in trap
Eight days ago, the Crime Branch had received information that the accused was hiding in Bangalore. The crime branch team was sent to Bangalore as soon as it was detected, but due to lack of exact address, the police team was looking for him in Bangalore for the last eight days. Meanwhile, the accused got a clue of the police and ran away from the police team and boarded the train. When the police came to know about his escape, the police personnel also boarded the same train. After about two hours of effort, the murder accused Mayaram was caught by the police. The police arrested the accused and returned to Gwalior with him.
The accused had also robbed the rifle
Police investigation revealed that accused Mayaram Gurjar had also robbed the rifle of a retired police officer. Along with this, the police team is engaged in interrogating the arrested accused in other incidents. The rifle is yet to be recovered.
