The Punjab government has reconstituted the Patiala and East Punjab State Township Development Board. Its chairman has been made CM Punjab Bhagwant Mann, while senior deputy chairman, Minister of State Brahm Shankar Zimpa has been appointed.
According to the notification issued by the Revenue Department, all the officers and members of Patiala and East Punjab State Township Development Board have been appointed for 3 years. In this board, MLA from Rajpura, Nina Mittal has been made deputy chairperson, while Ritesh Bansal, Gurbir Singh Sarao, Sumit Bakshi and Jitendra Verma have been appointed as members.
Finance Commissioner Punjab and Deputy Commissioner Patiala have been included in the official members, while SDM Rajpura will discharge the responsibility of the manager of the board.
