Reliance Jio 5G Service Launch: Jio will launch 5G mobile service in the country by Diwali


Reliance AGM Update: Addressing the 45th AGM of Reliance Industries, the company’s chairman Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance Jio will launch 5G services in the country by Diwali. He said that first 5G service will be started from four metro cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. After this, this service will be expanded throughout the country.

Mukesh Ambani said that the 5G service of Reliance Jio will prove to be a true 5G service. He said that only Jio has 700 MHz spectrum which will provide coverage everywhere. He also announced that Reliance Jio’s 5G service will be the most affordable. The chairman told that Reliance Jio is going to invest Rs 2 lakh crore for 5G services. Mukesh Ambani told in the AGM that Reliance Jio currently has the highest number of 421 million mobile customers. He said that Jio has established the strongest 4G network. He told that two out of 3 customers are opting for Jio Fiber. Jio’s 5G will be the best service.

India is still far behind in the fixed brand band by Mukesh Ambani. He said that Jio will rank India among the top 10 countries in the world in terms of fixed brand bank. Broadband use of 5G will be used for fixed broadband. Reliance Jio will open Jio 5G Experience Center in Mumbai. Also, the company has tied up with Google to make 5G handsets. Also tied up with Microsoft for cloud enabled business. The company has also tied up with Qualcomm.
