Ratlam woman attempted suicide: Woman ate sleeping pills in Ratlam’s women’s police station, was angry with daughter being sent to girl’s home

In Ratlam’s women’s police station today, a woman tried to commit suicide by consuming sleeping pills. Mahila Thana police immediately rushed her to the district hospital where her treatment is going on. In fact, the woman was angry with her minor daughter being sent to the girls’ home. A day earlier, her relatives had taken the minor girl to the women’s police station about the matter of talking to a young man. Where the girl had refused to go with the family members. After this she was handed over to Childline from where she was sent to Balika Grih. The woman had come today to take her daughter back home but she was saddened by her being sent to the Balika Grih and tried to kill herself by taking sleeping pills.

However, the victim woman has been admitted to the district hospital. Where his condition is said to be out of danger.
