DCP East Prachi Singh giving information about the rape case of an innocent in Ashiyana.
In Lucknow’s Ashiana area, a middle-aged man raped an eight-year-old girl by taking her home on the pretext of showing TV on Monday evening.
The incident came to light when the girl reached her mother’s house after the girl did not reach till late in the evening. Police is investigating the matter by taking the accused into custody.

A woman lives with her three daughters apart from her husband in the Bijli Pasi Fort area of Ashiana.
The woman working in the houses alleges that Umashankar (55), a painter near the house, lives alone.
He took the daughter along on the pretext of showing TV on Monday evening. Where the daughter often went to watch TV.
After not returning for a long time, she reached his house. If the door did not open, there was a fear of something untoward.
On going to the house through the roof, it was seen that Umashankar was doing dirty things with the daughter. On raising the noise, the gathered crowd caught hold of him and beat him up.
According to DCP East Prachi Singh, the accused has been arrested after registering a case on the complaint of the girl’s mother. The girl has been sent for medical examination.
