Railway crossing: 32 in Bhirangi, 20 crore in Masangaon, railway over bridge will be built, time will be saved

As soon as the Bhirangi railway gate is closed, there is a traffic jam on the state highway.

Railway Over Bridge (ROB) is proposed at four places in the district. The green signal has been received at the right place. The amount for the right place has been approved. Now the work has to start. ROB will be made at Bhirangi Railway Gate on Narmadapuram-Khandwa State Highway with Rs.32 crore 29 lakh 7 thousand and Masangaon at Rs.20 crore 37 lakh 60 thousand. This will help to get rid of the problem of frequent jams at the railway gate. Along with this, the time of people from 15 minutes to 30 minutes will be saved.

Here, ROB at the railway double gate falling on the Indore-Betul National Highway in Harda is not being built due to lack of space. For this, land is being searched around Piliakhal. In Khirkiya also, lack of land remains a hindrance in the construction of ROB. Railway officials are working hard for this. Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel also recently met the Chairman of Railway Board in Delhi. In this discussion was held to start ROB construction in Harda and Khirkiya soon. Railway is looking at land for construction of ROB around Piliakhal in Harda.

According to the information, there has been a long-standing demand for ROBs for movement on National Highway in Harda, Masangaon Railway Gate, Bhirangi on Narmadapuram-Khandwa State Highway and Khirkiya Railway Gate in the district. The state government also made provision for ROB in the budget. Out of this, the way has been cleared for construction of ROB in Masangaon and Bhirangi.

The drawing design for ROB construction has been approved. Now there is the issue of space in Harda and Khirkiya. Efforts are on to change the place for both the ROBs. Recently DRM Sairabh Bandepadhyay also visited the railway station. During this, Agriculture Minister Patel had discussed with him about the construction of ROB in Harda, Khirkiya. During this, there was talk of looking for land for the construction of Arabi behind private colleges in Piliakhal and Khirkiya in Harda.

Private land will have to be acquired for the construction of ROB at both the places. Here, Railway PRO Subedar Singh said that the drawing has been approved in Harda for the construction of ROB. The matter of amount is at the level of the state government.

The movement of trains is maximum from 9 in the morning to 12 in the afternoon and from 5 to 7.30 in the evening. Due to this there is a long traffic jam on the right side of the railway gate. The same situation prevails in Khirkiya also. The wheels of the vehicles stop as soon as the railway gate is closed. The dust and smoke is affecting the health of the shopkeepers.
