According to the information received, the raid started late at night and lasted till around 1 am. It is reported that the department had received complaints of GST manipulation against Novelty Sweets.

Late night, the teams of Excise and Taxation Department reached Novelty Sweets located at Novelty Chowk for survey. The department suspects that GST is being evaded on the novelty sweets. At present, the teams have started action by capturing the record of novelty sweets. Officials say that the action will continue for now. As soon as something becomes clear, it will be informed.
