Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Faridabad limits from village Khori Jamalpur on Friday. After lunch and rest on the way, the yatra will reach Gopal Garden near Badkhal Metro turn around 7 pm. Here Gandhi will address the public meeting. His journey will last for about 25 kms in the limits of Faridabad. In view of the yatra, the police has also issued an advisory.

City dwellers should avoid visiting BK Chowk, Neelam Chowk and other major roads after noon. Because coming within the limits of NIT can create jam situation in different parts of the city. It would be better if the city dwellers take alternative routes. According to the police advisory, the Sohna-bound traffic via Ballabhgarh-Dhauj will be completely closed. Apart from this, all types of traffic coming towards NIT from Barkhal Chowk, Old Chowk and Neelam Ajronda Chowk will be closed from 4 pm.

Congress MLA from NIT Neeraj Sharma and former MLA from Tigaon Lalit Nagar told that Rahul Gandhi’s yatra will start from Lakhuwas in Sohna at 6 am. It will enter Khori Jamalpur of Faridabad at around seven in the morning. After this, Sirohi, Alampur, Dhaij, Pakhal, Pali, 17 number octroi, three number culverts via Apoorva Chowk, RK Chowk, Metro Mod, BK Chowk, Neelam Chowk, Ajronda Bridge via National Highway to Old Faridabad and Badkhal Mod. Will reach near Gopal Garden. He told that afternoon lunch will be held at Pakhal village. After resting for some time, at around 3 pm, we will move towards the city via Pali. After the public meeting, the night rest will also be near Barkhal.

Police spokesman Sube Singh said that in view of Bharat Jodo Yatra, all types of traffic going from Ballabhgarh to Sohna via Dhauj will be completely closed from 4 am to noon on Friday. After this, all types of traffic coming towards NIT from Barkhal Chowk, Old Chowk and Neelam Ajronda Chowk will be closed from 4 pm onwards. On the Delhi-Mathura road, the service road going from Neelam flyover towards Delhi and NH-2 will also remain closed for all traffic.

A police spokesperson said that people can use Sohna Road flyover, Bata Chowk flyover, Mevla Maharajpur underpass and NHPC Chowk Greenfield underpass to reach NIT from Mathura-Delhi Highway. From Delhi border towards Faridabad, Ballabhgarh Palwal. The traffic of vehicles going will continue. Means the highway will remain one sided. Service Road and NH-2 Road going towards Delhi and Mewla Maharajpur, Green Field, NHPC Chowk will remain closed from 4 am to 9 am on Saturday.

A police spokesperson said that from 4 pm on Friday, the traffic going from Palwal to Delhi would be diverted via the bypass road under the Cali flyover. The traffic going from NIT area to Delhi will take Bata flyover towards Ballabhgarh and go to Delhi bypassing Kaili flyover. One can go to Delhi via Ankhir Chowk, Anganpur Chowk, Pahladpur, Shooting Range.
