Queen Elizabeth II Death: The flag-draped coffin of Queen Elizabeth II has reached the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the British monarchy’s residence in Edinburgh, Scotland. The coffin has completed its journey from Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire to Holyroodhouse Palace, the late monarch’s official Scottish residence in the capital, Edinburgh. Now the coffin will be kept in the throne room of Holyroodhouse till Monday afternoon to pay tribute to the Queen. It has completed the first leg of the journey.

The vehicle carrying the Queen’s coffin slowly moved towards Edinburgh in the presence of a heavy police force with a convoy of seven cars. During this, people standing on the way paid floral tributes to the late Queen. Elizabeth II’s daughter Princess Anne was present in the convoy.
