Mafia Raj was run at the behest of earlier governments
Harpal Cheema said that there was mafia rule in Punjab at the behest of the governments till 25 years ago, which was broken by the AAP government. He said that the excise policy has been announced after about 25-30 years as Punjab was ruled by Congress and Akali-BJP coalition government since 1992 till now. Punjab suffered a lot due to illegal liquor mafia.
