Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has made a big announcement regarding the industry sector. He said that now there will be green colored stamp paper for industrial land. From this it will be easily known for what purpose the businessman is buying the land and what will be its use.

Businessmen investing in Punjab should tell the state government where and for what purpose they want to buy land. After this the CLU team will give approval after land related investigation. After this the factory owner will be asked to buy expensive green colored stamp from other stamp paper. This will include the money for NOC related to CLU, Forest, Pollution and Fire. As soon as the registry is done, after that the businessman will be able to start the construction of the factory.

Clearance stamp will be put on green stamp paper
Mann said that with this decision, businessmen will be able to avoid troubles. They will not have to visit government offices. When the factory is ready, the stamp of clearance of all the above departments will be put on the green colored stamp paper available with the businessman. If an officer comes for inspection after a year or a half, then by looking at the stamp paper, he will come to know for what purpose the land was bought and for what use it is being put to use.

Mann said that Punjab is the first state in the country, which has decided on color coding of stamp papers. Hopefully it will be successful and other states will do the same. He said that at present green colored stamp paper is being introduced for the industrial sector. In the coming time, the colors of stamp papers of housing and other areas will also be made different.
