Actor Priyanka Chopra thanked producer Boney Kapoor and his daughter, up-and-coming actor Khushi Kapoor for giving her ‘a taste of home’. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Priyanka posted a picture giving a glimpse of the snacks the father-daughter sent her from India. In the picture, Indian delicacies and snacks like khakhra and poha along with different types of namkeens, were kept on a table. A bowl with snacks inside it was also seen in the photo. Sharing the photo of her gifts, Priyanka wrote, “Thank you @boney.kapoor and @khushi05k for a taste of home! So kind!” Priyanka is a big fan of Indian food. She even has an Indian restaurant, Sona, in New York.
On her Instagram Stories, Priyanka also shared a picture of herself as she pampered herself. In the photo, she wore a grey sweatshirt and looked at the camera with an LED mask on her face. She wrote, “You know I’m serving face behind the LED mask (laughing emoji) #selfcare.”
Fans will see Priyanka in several projects. She will feature in It’s All Coming Back To Me, and the series Citadel. Produced by Russo Brothers, Citadel will hit the OTT on Prime Video. The upcoming sci-fi drama series is being directed by Patrick Morgan and stars Richard Madden alongside Priyanka. She will star in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
Khushi will soon make her Bollywood debut with director Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film The Archies, alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The film also stars other newcomers – Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda in lead roles.
The Archies is an adaptation of the popular Archie comics. Produced by Tiger Baby and Graphic India, it is a coming-of-age story that will introduce the teenagers of Riverdale to a new generation in India. The film is slated for a 2023 release.
